Acapulco
Acapulco Bay is not really the place for surfing. Acapulco has some decent surfing at Diamond Point http://www.esteban-acapulco.com/acapulco.htm, Revolcadero Beach and Bonfil (both beaches about 20-30 minutes, near the Acapulco International Airport, Acapulco, 39900 Guerrero Mexico)

Cabo San Lucas
urfing is great in Cabo San Lucas. Here are the areas where surfing is most practiced:
Acapulquito Beach: San Jose del Cabo, Costa Azul, Breaks to the right. Beginners to Advanced
Cerritos: (Santa Lucia de los Cerritos) - Close to Todos Santos, Km. 65 Transpeninsular highway, beach break, fast, breaks both ways, beginners to Experts.
Costa Azul / Zippers: San Jose del Cabo, Costa Azul, Breaks powerful to the right. Experts
El Tule: In the middle of the Tourist Corridor, next to Chileno bay, Powerful, fast, breaks both ways, Advanced to Experts
La Roca: San Jose del Cabo, Costa Azul, Breaks to the right. Advanced to Experts
Monumento: Cabo San Lucas. Km. 6.5 Tourist Corridor, Misiones del Cabo. Tricky, breaks to the left. Experts
If you wish to surf anywhere else on the Baja Peninsula, there are a few other areas including Todos Santos to the north, and the East Cape, heading east and northeast of San Jose del Cabo.
